How It Works
Refer
Share your unique partner link with your audience. When someone signs up through your link, they are attributed to you.
Convert to Paid
When your referred user subscribes to a paid plan (Pro or Elite), the cohort rate is locked at your current tier percentage.
Earn Recurring Share
You earn a commission on every successful subscription payment — year-1 rate for the first 12 months, then 5% ongoing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as a paid subscriber?
A paid subscriber is someone who signs up through your referral link and completes at least one successful subscription payment. Free signups alone do not count toward your tier or commissions.
When are commission rates locked?
Your commission rate is locked per subscriber cohort at the moment they make their first payment. If you are at the 15% tier when Subscriber A first pays, that subscriber stays at 15% for year one — even if you later reach the 17.5% tier. New subscribers after the tier increase get the higher rate.
How are refunds handled?
If a subscriber receives a refund, the related commission is reversed. Commissions are only paid on successfully collected subscription payments.
When are payouts made?
Payouts are processed monthly for all pending commissions from the prior period. Minimum payout threshold is $50. During early access, payouts are handled manually via bank transfer or PayPal.
Can program terms change?
Terms may be updated for future referrals only. Rates already locked for existing subscriber cohorts are not changed retroactively. We will notify partners of any changes at least 30 days in advance.
What makes Founding Signal Partners different?
Founding partners receive 25% year-1 revenue share (vs. 15–20% for KOL), permanent featured placement on our website, and terms that are always at least as favorable as KOL rates. Only 4–5 founding positions are available.
What about self-referrals or abuse?
Self-referrals, fake signups, chargeback abuse, or any fraudulent activity will result in commission voiding and potential program termination. BambooSignal reviews suspicious activity before payout.
